• July 18: The Life Has a History educational module has been completely revised, with many new photographs and graphics.
• July 5: Mystery Fossil #58 posted.

• June 21: Announcement of the upcoming redesign of the UCMP website hits the home page.
• June 1: Mystery Fossil #57 posted.

• May 18: The May issue of the UCMP News newsletter, featuring Mark Goodwin's work on Triceratops, is posted.
• May 1: Mystery Fossil #56 posted.

• April 1: Mystery Fossil #55 posted.
• April 5: UCMP faculty curator Carole Hickman is profiled.
• April 26: Photos from UCMP's Cal Day 2006 open house are posted.
• Over the course of the month, a plan was developed, discussed, and pitched to the UCMP staff, faculty, and students for the complete overhaul of the UMCP website. The overhaul will include content upgrades (both text and photos/graphics), navigation improvements, and a total redesign for improved appearance and long-term maintenance.

• March 6: The main UCMP Archives page is reformatted.
• March 3: More UCMP history pages are reformatted:
  — Excerpts from Annie Alexander's scrapbook of her 1905 "Saurian Expedition"
  — The Annie Montague Alexander Papers
  — The Charles Lewis Camp Papers
  — The Everett C. Olson Papers
  — The Samuel P. Welles Papers

• February 23: There are a few pages on UCMP's history scattered about the website. We plan to bring these together, add new content, and build a larger "UCMP History and Archives" section. Some of the existing history pages have been reformatted and some photographs have been replaced with better versions. These pages include:
  — A short biography of Annie Montague Alexander
  — A short biography of John C. Merriam
  — An exam from J.C. Merriam's introductory paleontology class in 1901
  — A letter sent to Annie Alexander thanking her for her endowment to establish a Museum of Paleontology at Berkeley
• February 22: The mammoth bones discovered last July in San Jose (see the story) have been prepared and are now up for viewing.
• February 2: Mystery Fossil #54 posted.

• January 9: The latest issue of UCMP News, featuring Dave Lindberg's adventures with algae, abalone, and otters is posted.
• January 4: UCMP grad student Nick Pyenson is profiled.
• January 2: Mystery Fossil #53 posted.
