Session #4 Earth Materials Part II

Changing the Earth's Surface

The slow process of weathering is continuously at work, breaking down the rocks on the Earth's surface. Whether through mechanical or chemical weathering, the rock particles are then carried away by erosion and deposited elsewhere, thus shaping our landscape. In this session, we examine the forces that change the Earth's surface and how we can infer the landscapes of the past.
