The UCMP home page was originally conceived by Robert Guralnick and David Polly in early December 1993. But what would the web be without change? The home page was revised numerous times by Rob and Dave as well as Ben Waggoner and Allen Collins between 1993 and 1998.

The home page and the primary subpages of the website underwent a major overhaul in late 1999 and early 2000. The current organization and design came from the collaborative effort of five people: Allen Collins, Rob Guralnick, Judy Scotchmoor, David Smith and Colleen Whitney.
