I am fundamentally interested in the application of geochemical, geophysical, and geochronologic techniques to understanding paleoenvironmental change through time. My research focuses on the application of paleomagnetism to understand changes in the rock record preserved in banded iron formation (BIF) and leveraging plant and microbial biomarkers to constrain changes in the environment around the K/Pg boundary mass-extinction in Montana.
