I visited your website per request for a class I
was taking. I really enjoyed your site and have
bookmarked it for future reference. From the
limited visit I made 'this' time, I found a lot
of interesting information. The most fascinating
fact was that Ovripator does not steal eggs. I
have read many children's books (fairly recently
published also) that have stated this as a fact.
You have a great site and I intend to visit again
with my children.

I've just uploaded to http://sites.netscape.net/salinevalley1/mg/middlegate.html a new virtual field trip called Fossil Leaves And Seeds In West-Central Nevada. It's all about the wonderfully preserved 16-million-year-old leaves, seeds, conifer needles, seed pods and branchlets that can be found in the Middlegate Hills, roughly 50 miles east of Fallon. This is strictly a noncommercial, personal page, by the way.

This web site is fantastic! My 6th grade students are researching fossils as a part of our studies of ancient cultures. I love providing projects and reading that not necessarily geared towards little kids, so I've been surfing the net looking for resources. Your web site provides excellent information and detailed projects that look so exciting and don't "talk down" to students!
I can't wait until we have web access in our classroom to better utilize resources such as your site.
Thank you for the time and consideration you obviously placed in preparing this web site!

I have been aspiring to become a paleontologist since I was three years of age, and I now believe that I have found the university that will help me get a degree in something I like to do. Although I am only 13 years old, I already am hoping to get accepted into UCMP and get a doctorate in paleontology so that I can use that knowledge to have a career in this field of science that I enjoy so much. Thanks again.

The tottaly unexpected quality and innovative approach found on your phylogenetic tree of life pages is quite breathtaking. For a biology student much more keen on "learning rather than studying", these pages offer a very complete learning basis. I must enfasise the Plantae systematics found there, most compreensive and interesting, and it would be even more interesting if the pages on Rhyniophyta and the Charales were already available. Congratulations.
