Lambeosaurus

Crested dinosaur skull

Lambeosaurus was a crested hadrosaur, or duckbilled dinosaur. Such dinosaurs were typical of the Late Cretaceous period, from 100 to 65 million years ago. The unusual crest on the head is hollow, and contains a long nasal passage. Lambeosaurus and other crested hadrosaurs may have used their crests to create loud noises.
