Two wildlife images from tropical ecosystems are shown on the screen. On the left, a close-up of a caiman's head showing its scaly skin and distinctive snout against a green blurred background. On the right, a colorful scarlet macaw parrot with bright red, yellow, and blue plumage perched on a branch. Both images are in oval frames with red borders and labeled 'caiman' and 'parrot' respectively.

Caimans and parrots do not seem like relatives because they look so different from each other.

Caimans, like all crocodiles, don't perch in trees or fly through forests, nor do they have feathers or wings, and those mouths full of teeth certainly don't resemble a parrot's beak.
