Range: Western Pacific, Fiji

Habitat: Coral reef

Depth: 1–5 m

Home: Cavity in coral rubble, coralline algal bench, LR

Diet: Unknown

Size: 7–29 mm

Color: Variable; black, green or brown; some individuals with white stripe across telson

Distinguishing Characters: Erect, posteriorly directed keel-like process on dorsal telson

Activity: Diurnal

Aquarium Requirements:

Temperature: 23–28° C

Salinity: 34–36 PSU

Cohabitants: Could only eat smallest crustaceans and gastropods

Aquarium size (adult): 10 l

Aquarium substrate: Sand and gravel; cavity in rock, coral rubble or LR

Suitability for Aquarium: Good; remains in cavity, not interactive

Availability: Very rare; occasionally found as hitchhiker in LR for Fiji
