Malcolm C. McKenna
Malcolm McKenna, an expert on fossil mammals, died in Boulder, CO, on March 3 at the age of 77. A Berkeley Ph.D. student and classmate of our own Bill Clemens, McKenna spent his 41-year career as a curator at the American Museum of Natural History and in teaching geosciences at Columbia University. More information can be found on the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology website. The photo above (taken in 1981) is a cropped section of a larger photo that Malcolm McKenna sent to UCMP on the occasion of Bill Clemens' retirement in December 2002.
